It's about the journey,
not the destination.
Five knots is plenty.
Getting grandchildren changes things.
And as i keep getting more of them,
there may only be room for
me and them on the boat.
We're here in Skipstadsand in Hvaler.
Hvalers' got nearly everything-
One of the sunniest places in Norway,
it has a fantastic archipelago.
And it's close to Fredrikstad,
Norway's best city.
My previous boat was also Nordkapp,
an Enduro open console boat.
Which I was very happy with,
but now i have grandkids.
I want to have something
a bit more social.
And ended up with this one. Which
we are very happy with, right Else?
Although it can manage close to 50,
i prefer to cruise at 5 knots/h.
It's very nice to have the option though.
You find yourself short on time-
maybe some bad weather is brewing.
Having that power comes in handy.
I'm very satisfied with the stowage.
There is a place for everything,
and everything has its place.
There is enough stowage, so
keeping the boat tidy is easy.
This has an elastic solution,
so i don't have to fiddle.
Including stowage for
on-board equipment.
There is plenty of stowage and
we use... Oh this one's empty?
Like now for example!
Remember to put the cap back on.
It's not like the old days,
when you went on roadtrips.
You don't do that anymore,
but you do go on boat trips.
Having a boat in which you can
hardly hear the engine is amazing.
It's a different type of calm.
Just focusing on what you're doing.
Being attentive to your enjoyment of it.
